WebPorth Chapel is a small sandy beach tucked away in the St Levan parish approached through a pretty valley walk from St Levan church. The valley walk is beautiful at any time of year but during spring and summer wild flowers abound and the sheltered valley is popular for birds. WebChapel Porth Beach is one of the beaches with a ban on dogs between 1st July to 31st August between 10am to 6pm. Personally, I agree with the restrictions as the beaches can get extremely crowded, and there are a lot of dog owners that can’t or don’t control their dogs. I was on the receiving end of this when I was a small child.
