Bitgo instant: temporarily disabled
WebBitGo, with the launch of its BitGo Instant product, facilitated zero-confirmation transactions which were ‘approved’ immediately. Using multi-signature technology, the wallet provider said at the January launch it would even cover the cost of any double spend transactions successfully executed using its zero-confirmation solution. WebBitGo instant is one of BitGo’s most popular features. Regular Bitcoin transactions take on average 10 minutes to confirm. Using BitGo instant, any business that accepts BitGo instant transactions will instead be able to enjoy near-instant Bitcoin transactions. This works because BitGo guarantees that it will never sign a double-spend transaction.
